What We Do

We work with adults who have a learning disability.

The Team secretaries and administration assistants keep the files tidy, answer the telephone, type the letters and help the team.

The Team Manager sorts out any big problems and work with the Team to help you.

Care Managers and Care Manager Assistants help by assessing the help that you need and arranging for the support you need to live your life.  They are also available to help you with things like benefits, housing or any other difficulties. We also help school leavers with choices for further education & work.

Community Learning Disability Nurses help you with health problems and your feelings (physical and emotional).

Occupational Therapists and Technical Instructors help people to do things for themselves e.g. learning to cook, enjoying leisure activities and finding equipment to make life easier.

Speech and Language Therapists, Technical Instructors and Assistants help you to understand language and help you to talk with the support of symbols, photos and signing. They can also help you to eat and drink safely.

Psychologists help you to talk through your problems and to understand how you feel.

Physiotherapists help people with their mobility and help them to keep on the move

We can see you in your own home, in the day centre, in the community, your workplace, college etc.
